After 27 years on the 5th February 2012 the South Essex Amateur Radio Society annual Canvey Radio Rally took place at the Paddocks Community Centre, Long Road, Canvey Island.  And it was another successful year. Even with the snow we had to contend with on the day.

 

We are determined that it should remain successful. Our policy is to be as competitive as possible, so price increases are only in line with rising costs, mainly hall hire, which has been considerable over recent years. This one day event on the first Sunday in February consistently attracts 500 visitors. The venue boasts a large car park, wheelchair access, refreshments and excellent bacon rolls. As one of the first rallies in the year it is very popular with traders, user groups and amateurs alike. The demand for tables usually exceeds supply meaning early booking is recommended.
