We operated GB2CIS again this year with the 1st Canvey Sea Scouts, we worked many Scout Groups in the UK and all over Europe with all modes CW, SSB, 80,40 Mts and 2mts FM,  Scouts reported having a great day including us.

 

We had one young Sea Scout last year that was very keen to take up the hobby.,The Club sponsored him through the Foundation Course with proceeds from the Canvey Rally ,We now have a very enthusiastic young licensed operator who turns out for all of our field events and Club meetings and actively wants to get involved, so this years J.O.T.A   Luke M6LNT was one of our main operators.
